The Biology lesson introduces living things, basic body functions, plants, animals and simple ecosystem relationships. Questions are designed as conversation starters that encourage children to observe, compare and connect ideas with the world around them. Scientific vocabulary is introduced in simple contexts so an adult can extend the discussion according to the child's age.
Choose one nearby object—such as a leaf, insect or body feature—and make a simple observation note: colour, shape, function, where it was found and one thing the child still wants to know. Scientific thinking can begin with careful observation rather than a complicated experiment.
Adapt the activity to the child’s age and readiness. If the child becomes tired or loses interest, stop and return another time.
