English learning guide

Bebiyu English practice introduces everyday vocabulary, short sentence meaning and simple conversational responses. Activities are split into short levels so children can revisit unfamiliar words without completing a long session. The listen button can read questions aloud, while an adult can model the pronunciation normally used at home or school and encourage the child to use new words in context.

What this practises

  • Connect new words with familiar objects, people and routines.
  • Move from single-word meaning to short sentences so vocabulary is not learned in isolation.
  • Repeat the same word in different situations rather than relying on one question.

After the game, choose three to five new words and find matching objects, make a short sentence, or practise a tiny conversation such as “Good morning”, “How are you?” and “Thank you”. The goal is confident communication and understanding, not a perfect accent.

Adapt the activity to the child’s age and readiness. If the child becomes tired or loses interest, stop and return another time.
